He was in and out of jail for serving time for armed robbery and drug offenses at age of 21 from 1963-65 at Tracy. Then in San Quentin State Prison from 1965 to 1968 and ultimately in Soledad from 1969 to 1969. While he was at San Quentin, he joined the lightweight and welterweight boxing divisions and became the champion in both divisions. In prison the 12-step restoration schedule he completed turned the key to his new life.
A young man whom he had previously met at a Cocaine Anonymous meeting in 1985 asked him for support. Trejo went to meet him at the set of Runaway Train . When the staff saw his tough appearance and his many tattoos, he was immediately offered a role as a convict extra. The screenwriter turned out to be a fellow prisoner from San Quentin offered him a job training actors for a boxing match. The director in the meantime seeing how good he was at boxing offered him the role of the villain. Thus began his acting career.
Danny believed circumstances created destiny. What his is now is a composition of what he was before and the choices he had made. He loves playing the bad guy because it shows kids that bad guys often die or get jailed. He also speaks to the youth, encouraging them to lead decent lives and avoid production the mistakes he did.
How to Get a New Life - Danny Trejo StyleI helped a young man with his heroin problem about two years ago. He would not go to detox rehab treatment, just refused to check himself into a Narconon town or any center. He wanted to just do it himself and asked if I could help him.

This young man is off of heroin. But is he rehabilitated? No.

If the offender is convicted of causing injuries, there will be permanent loss of license and severe jail sentence. If manslaughter is involved, it may even be tried as murder charge. Also the fourth offense carries loss of license and jail term.
The above mentioned punishments may vary depending upon the case. There is a psychological side to the punishments. The suspension of license may also follow in loss of job, if the job requires continuous travel.
Orange County Dui PenaltiesIn the 1990's, I was a fan of the show Beverly Hills 90210. I watched it in college and while most of the decade. So, when a new 90210 came this season to the Cw, I watched some of it as it had some of the old characters come back like Brenda and Kelly. The premise for this new show is about a house from Kansas who come to Beverly Hills to move in with their mother/grandmother who is an actress and getting older needing help from her son and his family. They have a adopted son and daughter who attend West Beverly High. This is the alma mater of the group who attended back in the 1990's. I have only watched this show in spurts. However, from an anti-bullying perspective, I have to propose this show as it is a good one.
There are four main female characters who I would say are friends but have had their share of problems. Two of them use to be best friends (Naomi and Silver), one is a child actress supporting her mother (Adriana) and the other is the one from Kansas (Annie). Naomi and Adriana are Bff's while Annie and Silver (Erin Silver from the original 90210) have grown close. Naomi told every person about Silvers parents divorcing in middle school which left Silver bitter. Adriana was sent to rehab for a drug qoute and is now pregnant. Annie and Naomi have fought over a boy named Ethan who was Naomi's boyfriend and is now Annie's. There is a good opening that Silver will be diagnosed as bi-polar this season and she keeps a blog where she expressed her anger but she has stopped posting so much and channeled her vigor into her boyfriend Dixon. Despite this drama, there is not any relational aggression going on in this. At first, I figured Naomi would be the mean girl but not only did she apologize to Silver for doing what she did but the girls are studying to get along. When Adriana was in rehab and became pregnant, Naomi turned out to be a loyal and supporting friend to her despite her strong personality and that she did get mad at Adriana while she was in rehab. Naomi did ruin Annie's 16th birthday party because Annie stole Ethan from her. However, neither girl has allowed their angers towards one someone else out of control. As a matter of fact, the feud stayed between them alone. Naomi can be nasty but I have found that she reacts only when she has been offended. She shows her anger and moves on and does not dwell on the issue at hand. Also, Annie and Ethan were talking to a girl from their school who talked about have a devastating experience at the hands of mean girls at a old school and you could see the pain in her face. Instead of making it worse, Annie and Ethan both expressed compassion towards her, not rejection. Even though events occurred. The most foremost thing is that there are no queen bees emerging nor are there power trips and feeding into anyone one persons relationally aggressive behavior.
I will come out and say it. Despite Naomi's strong will, need to be cool, the fact that she is spoiled and tends to seek revenge when offended, at the end of the day, she is not a bully and here is why. When two girls fight and hurt one another, this is not a situation of bullying. It is normal for girls to get angry over a boy. Both Annie and Naomi behaved badly towards one another. Bullies also do not stand by their friends when they are in trouble unless it benefits them in some way. What does Adriana have that Naomi wants? Naomi comes from a much more affluent background. She lives in an upscale hotel unlike Adriana lives with her mother trying to help made ends meet each month. Maybe Naomi does not see Adriana as a threat but she has shown compassion and keep to her and stood up for her. She does not seem to have any hidden agendas in this. I believe she in fact cares for Adriana. Bullies do not have this capacity within them.
Its foremost to understand these differences between strong personalities and outright bullies. habitancy will probably say Naomi is nasty and yes, she can be. But persons convicted of a felony or misdemeanor violation of any sex offense specified in Penal Code Section 290, the accusatory pleading (Complaint) of which has been dismissed pursuant to Penal Code Section 1203.4, may file a motion for certificate of rehabilitation; in case,granted that the petitioners have not been incarcerated in any prison, jail, detention facility, or other penal convention or group since the extraction of the complaint/indictment and is not on probation for the commission of any other felony.
Period of house In California Prior To Filing of Petition:
The required period of house in California for the petitioner for a certificate of rehabilitation depends on the date of issue from prison after completion of the sentence term or issue on parole. If the issue is prior to May 13, 1943, the period of house is three years prior to the filing of the motion for a certificate of rehabilitation, under Penal Code Section 4852.01(a).
For the petitioner released on or after May 13, 1943, the required period of house in California is five years prior to the filing of the petition, under Penal Code Section 4852.01(b) and (c).
The petitioner is required to present satisfactory evidence of the three-year or five-year period of house in California prior to the filing of the motion for certificate of rehabilitation and pardon.
Period of rehabilitation Of 5 Years From extraction Or issue From Prison:
Aside from house requirement, Penal Code Section 4852.03 requires a minimum of 5 years' house in California as the period of rehabilitation to begin to run from extraction from custody due to completion of the term of sentence or upon issue on parole or probation, whichever is sooner.
In addition to the five years of period of rehabilitation, four years are added in the case of a someone convicted of definite crimes: Penal Code Section 187 (murder), 209 (kidnapping for ransom etc.), 219 (train derailment), 4500(assault by force etc.), 12310 (unlawful explosion etc.), or commission of an offense carrying life sentence.
Five years are added in the case of a someone convicted of an offense for which sex offender registration is required under Penal Code Section 290, except for definite violations for which only 2 years are added.
And 2 years are added in the case if a someone convicted of an offense not listed above that does not carry a life sentence.
But the trial court hearing the motion may enlarge the statutory period of rehabilitation for an additional period of time, which when combined with time already served, will not exceed the period prescribed by statute for the sum of the maximum penalties for all the crimes, if the defendant-petitioner was ordered to serve consecutive sentences.
